Have-a-go

Have-a-go

There are currently four Have-a-go Shakespeare groups which meet once a fortnight to explore Shakespeare text in reading and performance. They are open to all, most of the members are over 50 and are a mixture of those who’ve never thought much about Shakespeare and hated it at school ranging to some who are star players in the Willow Globe Company! As well as having a go themselves, the groups take regular trips to see professional Shakespeare productions at anywhere from nearby Theatr Brycheiniog to the RSC at Stratford. Thanks to Sue and Phil’s network of friends and colleagues in the theatre, the groups often get to talk Shakespeare with the actors and directors afterwards.
