Phil has recently returned from his annual two week visit to Harrow Way school in Andover where he workshops and performs a Shakespeare play with the year 9 students, alongside enthusiastic teacher John Baxter. This year it was the turn of “that Scottish play” to get the Shakespeare Link treatment and Phil was supported by our own Romeo and Juliet, Robin Scott-Wilson and Aimee Corbett.
During the eighteen years it has been running the project has run up an impressive set of statistics:
Total number of performers: 360
Total number of year 9 students in the workshops: 2,700
Total number of primary school pupils who have seen the performances: 3,600
Here’s hoping it continues for at least another eighteen!
