Throughout the season from April to September there is a varied programme of activities at the theatre which is accessible to wheelchairs. You can join us for our usual Have-a-go Shakespeare Sessions, Comedy Stand-up for young people, workshops for the current SATS plays, and other education and community events including our Charity Festival Apple Day in September.

Wednesday April 30 Blazing Beltane!
A celebration of this ancient Celtic festival with fire, spectacle and song supplied by Alice Firefly and local musicians Benjie Talbot and Semele Xerri. Arrive early to enjoy stilt characters, stylish acts and yummy burgers - suitable for the whole family!

Saturday May 24 and Sunday May 25 Macbeth
The Living Willow Community Company presents an atmospheric production of the Scottish play, rooted in the local landscape and dusted with Celtic mysticism. Anyone who wants to come dressed as a witch will be invited to take part in some witchy stage business!

Saturday June 7 National Moth Day
Come and look at real moths in the orchard and fictional ones in Shakespeare’s plays.

Popular company Theatre Set-Up returns with this magical comedy from Shakespeare, performed and presented as it would have been in Elizabethan times.

Performances from a host of actors, musicians, dancers, singers, celebrating Shakespeare and global culture, with the opportunity to participate in workshops and present your work to the public! Contemporary Appalachian singer/songwriter returns with his amazing Trio. This time AJ is also offering a workshop in the afternoon, prior to the evening performance - don't miss out!
